Dear Muther I take my seat this morning to let you now that we are well at present and hope that these few lines may find you in joying the same blessing There is nothing ove eney importents a going on here now there is some geriles a fooling around here atacting the pickets evrey few days but with litel success when the wether setels I think we will wipe them out ove enistens and send them to there master the devel wel muther I havent much to write this morning George wants you to send his gold pen to him and I want you to send me some postage stamps and Felixs picter go to town and get one taken and send it with Lieutenant Wekley he is agoing to start home in about to hours and I am agoing to seng this leter with him he sade he wod come out to se youens
