Dear Mother I take my pen in hand to let you no how we are a getting a long we are boath a bout well we are at Balttamore now but I dont no how long we will stay here I think we will b sent to the regement or to columbas in a few days but I cant tell wich for they do just as they piles a bout it and I dont care much for I wold just as leefe wride a round on the cars a month or too as not when it dont cost eny thing we left Winchester last sunday and went to harprs fary and stayed there till tusday then we were sent to Balttamore wich is a very nice palace there is a very larg hspttle here and it is kep nice every thing has to b kep in good stile there is a woman in every ward to tend to the sick and some that tends to the cooking I wrought to you a bout a weak a go I have a good deal to wrght but I have such a pore place to wright th at I will haf to close direct you letter to Baltmore garvis hospittle ward no 7 wright as son as you get this
