Crossed Rockies today — quite an experience. Made better time than planned. Glad to be east of them. Cause had radiator trouble on about first steep climb.

Heavy gas day through the mountains — 11.7 gallons at $4.32, 10.7 gallons at $3.22, 10.6 gallons at $3.80, plus a new air filter for $3.25. Supper for $4.19. Motel in Goodland — $18.00.
