“I dont think that we will have much more fighting to do this fall”

Dear Mother I take this opetunety to wright you a few lines to let you no that I receved your letter and was glad to hear from you and to hear that you was well we ar boath weill at present and hope that these few lines may find you well well I dont think that we will have much more fighting to do this fall we were Campt near Strosburg till yesterday we moved back near winchester I dont no how long we will stay hear som thinks we will stay close hear this winter I onely wish we wold for them I think will get to Com home for they ar given furlows now I am tenden to D Eversole horses now well I think that I will get to come home in a copel of weeks if we stay hear well you wanted to no if I wold sell my over Coats I will sell boath of them for tenn dolers a pease that is the lest that I will take for them well I must close as the male is redey to leave mo more at present but remain yours till death
