Letter 32 Aug the 16, 1872

“I do not know yet what I will do in the spring if I live.”

I seat myself to let you know that I am well at present, hoping when these few lines reach you they will find you the same. We are all well. I believe Uncle Tom's folks are all well. Henry was here last Sunday week. Last week was camp meeting. I did not go, I did not care about it. Mr Ernst got well. Next Sunday Mr Spring preaches his farewell sermon at Plesant Hill. The babies are all well, I believe. It is next spring that my time is out. Ellie is at home now. She has not been very well but is better now. I do not know yet what I will do in the spring if I live. Jennie Long's brother drowned himself. They do not know any cause I believe. Well I must bring my letter to a close for this time, so good bye. Write soon. Write when you are coming up.
