On desert we had radiator trouble. Car chugged to California.

Prill's all nice — had nice supper at Wes's.

Arrived at the Prills' in Fontana. Three gas fills across the desert — 9.7, 11.1, and 15.8 gallons. Breakfast $3.63, lunch $4.70. Got a car wash for $1.53 and a Coke for $.90. Motel in Fontana — $11.48.
